Updates from your TCC

We have published a new tutorial video “Conducting an ARC CPR Pro Skills Session” to the Tutorials & FAQ page. Be sure you and your instructors review it. The video has also been published to the instructor portal.

We’re (finally) making updates and improvements to the Training Site Portal!

Please take note of the below changes that have taken place so far, and be on the look-out for additional changes/improvements in the coming days and weeks.

NEW FEATURE - Instructor “Sign-Ups”. Your instructors are now allowed to “sign-up” for classes that they are interested in teaching. When they sign up, it no longer assigns them to a course. instead it adds them to a new list of “available instructors” that you will see when you view the details of a course in the “assign instructors” tab. We hope you find this feature to be as useful as we hope it to be! Be sure to communicate to your instructors that they can now easily sign up for classes. See more instructions on the “Assign Instructors” tab.

-Separate “Available” courses tab: This tab is specifically for ARC contract courses. If your TS teaching ARC courses, please be sure to check both tabs.

-NEW “Confirmation” tab and process: To document course confirmations, you will now use the “Confirmation Needed” tab. This tab shows you all classes in the next 7 days that you have not yet confirmed.
-Select a course number to review the details of the course
-If you leave a message etc., click the available “Confirmation Attempt” link
-If you confirm the course, click the “Course Confirmed” link
-This will update the status and notify the correct people
-Additional features will be added to further automate this process
-(i.e.: email to course contact at 3rd attempt, etc.)

-NEW Multiple Instructors: You can now assign multiple instructors to courses. Do this by adjusting the “Instructors Needed” field, then select the additional instructors in the dropdown.
